Biofeedback is a treatment technique in which people learn to improve their health by using signals from their own bodies.

Clinicians rely on computerized biofeedback equipment that can detect a person’s internal body functions with far greater sensitivity and precision that a person can alone.

With this information a person can learn to alter the stress response or maladaptive response to more relaxed and healthy responses
